The small blue purse was knit with Manos del Uruguay (approx. 6"square by 7" tall).
The graduated striped bag with the flower motif was knit with Brown Sheep Waverly Wool
(approx.8" by 5" x 7" tall)
The gold bag was also made from Manos del Uruguay, the Russet one was LaLana's beautiful hand-dyed wools.
MyLittleCompanion is a very versatile purse.
Constructed much like its big sister, the knitbag, MyConstantCompanion,
it has many of the same features.
MyLittleCompanion is surprisingly roomy for such a small comfortable bag...
Because of its size it is quick to knit
you can make one for every outfit and every friend on your gift list.
Experiment with a variety of yarns and colors - the perfect stash reduction bag...
The pattern comes with the small flower chart shown on the Waverley bag. It can be included in the body or knit on a swatch which can be added later as a pocket.
The pattern is written for two shapes, rectangular or square. The bag accents are left to you.
I encourage you to make swatches in several shapes and sizes and then use them for accents.
