This example of the DAYBAG

is knit with Manos del Uruguay yarns.

The pocket is a simple intarsia design, inserting blocks of the accent color in progressive intervals.

A chart is included but the pocket on this bag, as with all of my felted bags is a swatch.

Finished swatches help determine the characteristics of the yarns, how the colors will work together

and how the yarns will felt.

I always find uses for the swatches as accents on my bags.

For me, they are essential and never go to waste.
